Alexandria/Glenwood Lakes Area
The Alexandria Lakes Region covers waterfront real estate throughout Greater Alexandria, Glenwood, Osakis and Southern Ottertail County. At only about two hours from the Twin Cities or Fargo, the "Alex" Area has an array of large water bodies like Lake Miltona, Lake Ida and Lake Minnewaska in Glenwood, along the the popular Alexandria Chain of Lakes which includes Lake Darling, Lake Carlos and Lake Le Homme Dieu, in addition to several smaller lakes that have limited access to the chain. Altogether, about 350 lakes in the region give a wide variety of lakeshore real estate options for most any buyer.
